SILK PAINTING

I run silk painting workshops on a variety of subjects throughout the year at my studio in Buxton. Full day workshops include a 2 course lunch and all the materials you will need and cost £45. Most workshops are suitable for Beginners and I always provide templates for those who need them. There is a maximum of 6 participants for studio workshops to ensure individual attention. I am happy to offer help with suggesting accommodation if needed.

PASTEL PAINTING

Exploring Pastels & Paper

A workshop for those with some experience of using pastels or interested beginners. Working from images of land, sea and sky, explore a wide range of advanced pastel techniques using a variety of exciting papers and different techniques- all in the setting of the lovely chapel in the picturesque village of Earl Sterndale, near Buxton, Derbyshire.
£55 per person including all materials, lunch and all tea / coffee. (This workshop costs a little more to cover the cost of some very interesting papers we will be using)

JEWELLERY MAKING COURSE

Course: Jewellery Design and Making Course
Venue: Glossop Adult Centre, Talbot Rd. Glossop
Dates: Next term starts in September 2010
Course description: Contemporary jeweller/maker Adele Kime will be running this course where you can come along and have fun learning how to design and make creative pieces, using a variety of techniques and materials. You will learn how to apply colour and pattern onto aluminium, together with the basic techniques of sawing, drilling, filing, riveting and finishing into simple jewellery.
Progress onto working in silver, learning how to solder, texture, form, pierce, rivet, polish, etc. all on the beginners course.
Join the intermediate course if you have previous knowledge and learn more advanced skills in silver such as etching and setting stones. Plus creative stitching into metal and textiles techniques.

Botanical Painting with Cheryl Wilbraham AssocSBA SFP SGM

Develop your drawing and painting skills with a friendly and experienced tutor.

Workshops are suitable for beginners and those with some experience and are limited to a maximum of 7 people to ensure individual guidance. The venue is the Village Hall in the quiet village of Barrow upon Trent in South Derbyshire.

Workshops are full day 10.00am - 4.00pm and cost £45.00 per person.  Coffee, tea, squash and biscuits will be provided but you will need to bring a packed lunch. I will also provide watercolour paper but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
