Working in two contrasting directions, with their differing problems and demands, provides Gary with the challenges and stimuli that sustains him as an artist and maker.  His paintings are based on aspects of the rugged environment in which he lives and are painted in oils, gouache and inks.  As a potter, his obsession is with making functional pots for use in the home.  These are wheel thrown stoneware.  Visitors are welcome to his studio and pottery workshop.  Please telephone in advance.
