An introduction to Peak District Products


Founded in 1991, Peak District Products is an association of professional artists, designer-makers, artisans and fine food producers based in and around the beautiful Peak District in England.

Peak District Products is a registered business and a limited company. We are a co-operative run by and funded by members. We produce an annual brochure (print run 35,000), exhibit together at group shows and also individually at larger events both locally and nationally. Many members are award-winning and nationally recognised for excellence in their chosen field.

Peak District Products celebrates the very best of creative work in the Peaks. We aim to promote individual creative businesses thorough the group’s brochure, joint exhibitions and our website. We provide a supportive network of contacts and information for established and developing professional creative practitioners within the Peak District and surrounding areas. We welcome applications from new members.

 



All PDP members offer a commitment to quality and service and many skills are represented in the group including practitioners in visual art, jewellery, furniture, ceramics, textiles, fashion, photography, sculpture, stained glass, calligraphy, wood carving, silver and mosaics. Food members also include the Chatsworth Farm Shop.

PDP members exhibit together throughout the year.

In 2006, the Earl of Burlington became the group’s new President. The Earl of Burlington has a strong interest in and commitment to the arts- and is an established photographer in his own right. Peak District Products are thrilled he felt able to take over the role from his grandmother, the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire who had led the group with enthusiasm and interest for 15 years.
